Apt Heavens is a duo project of bassist-composer Benjamin Finley and violist-composer Patrick Behnke pursuing new interactions between viola and bass, both in acoustic and electroacoustic settings. The self-titled album Apt Heavens represents years of deep friendship, learning, and compositional and improvisational co-creation between Finley and Behnke. Special thanks to artist and recording engineer (and wonderful human) Jared Rodriguez who also contributed creative direction to 'The Horse's Eye'.
